The Electronic Systems Division (ESD), located in Allen, Texas, is focused on development of electronic support measures (ESM) and electronic intelligence (ELINT) sensor systems and platform systems integration for government and military customers.
Our primary thrust is in the area of ESM and ELINT systems for military intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and homeland defense applications.
The family of systems is derived from a core architecture and product family known as Pegasus. The Pegasus product family includes small, adaptable ESM and ELINT suites capable of use on unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and other unmanned assets. The Pegasus family also includes larger, higher performance ESM and ELINT systems for manned platforms and more demanding ELINT missions. Pegasus is being developed on our internal research and development (IR&D) funds and is the next generation in small, high-performance collection capability at competitive costs. The Pegasus family of products is leveraged from our on-going investment into reduced size, weight, and power (SWAP) designs and can be used for a variety of missions and collection applications. The system is configured in building block fashion, and is highly adaptable for aircraft, ground, surface, and subsurface applications. The flexibility and scalability of the Pegasus family of equipment allows us to configure a system best suited for a mission while maintaining the inherent capacity for growth insertion and ease of maintenance with reduced cost of ownership.
ESD has significant experience in platform/vehicle systems integration and overall systems engineering for a variety of mission applications. Working with the government and/or prime contractors, ESD designs, manufactures, integrates, tests, and operationally supports various system and subsystem installations on airborne, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms.
