  AST’s investment in internal research and development (IR&D) has led to new advancements in the survey, collection, geo-location, and exploitation of radio frequency (RF) communication systems, including today’s most modern wireless signals. Our systems provide real-time direction finding and geo-location regarding a wide variety of signals by using technologies such as adaptive beamforming, coherent channel processing, and other techniques.
  AST’s unprecedented electronic warfare equipment analyzes the command and control signals associated with weapons systems, scans their radar bands, and identifies their type and precise location. Coupled with AST’s advanced COMINT systems, U.S. troops are now better equipped to detect all battlefield emitters and provide enhanced situational awareness while improving force protection across all domains.
 
Flexible Systems to Fit Any Platform
  AST has significant experience in low size, weight, and power (SWAP), scalable payloads for both manned and unmanned vehicle platforms. We also have expertise in system integration and overall system engineering for use with a variety of strategic and tactical mission applications. Our systems are built in an open architecture, allowing integration with other commercial-off-the-shelf, government-off-the-shelf, and custom solutions. Additionally, our system architectures are designed to expand the supplemental collection capabilities within any platform, while making little or no change to it.
