NSSD pioneered the development of coherent processing and advanced anomaly detection for synoptic, long wavelength synthetic aperture radar (SAR) coverage of wide regions of the world, resulting in persistent surveillance of countries and continents of interest. |

The neu-VISION™ family of portable neutron inspection systems, based on associated particle imaging technology, that addresses the need to detect explosives and chemical weapons and drugs concealed in solid containers/vehicles. The neu-VISION family is a cost-effective, clandestine through-barrier neutron inspection system for military, intelligence, and homeland security use. It provides rapid 3-D visualization and elemental identification of dangerous materials and contraband obscured by walls and other barriers, including steel and concrete. This technology provides warning of threats associated with through-wall breaching; detects and identifies explosives, including IEDs and unexploded ordnance; and supports cargo/portal screening for explosives, chemicals, and drugs. |
