The Wireless Communication Systems Division (WCSD) provides advanced SIGINT system solutions to the intelligence, military, and law enforcement communities with emphasis on the collection and exploitation of modern wireless communication signals.

WCSD offers a family of signal intelligence (SIGINT) systems designed as software radios, intended for both tactical and strategic SIGINT applications. These products are intended for ground, mobile, and airborne environments. Our product family uses an open architecture, provides full band tuning, addresses advanced communication signals, performs processing from RF to audio, including direction finding (DF) and geolocation, and includes low size, weight, and power (SWAP) solutions. WCSD continues to expand its considerable library of signal processing algorithms, with emphasis on emerging wireless signals.

WCSD has over a decade of experience in the development and implementation of robust, practical interference cancellation (IC) algorithms. These algorithms are flight proven in the mitigation of co-channel interference in dense signal environments.

Areas of focus include:

System solutions for wireless collection and exploitation of airborne (manned and unmanned) and ground-based applications

Tactical and strategic applications

System integration services for airborne and ground-based platforms

Development of signal processing algorithms for advanced wireless signals
Low SWAP solutions for both ground-based and airborne sensors
High frequency (HF) through V/UHF frequency coverage
IC algorithms for co-channel interference reduction
  N-channel DF capability
Extensive signal processing library, with emphasis on modern wireless signals
Open software architecture with application programming interfaces (APIs) for third-party software development
