AST's investment in internal research and development has led to new advancements in the survey, collection, geolocation, and exploitation of RF communication systems, including the newest, fastest, and most complex modern signals. Our systems perform real-time direction finding and precision geolocation of signals of interest by using technologies such as adaptive beamforming, coherent channel processing, and other advanced techniques.

Our next-generation ELINT solution automatically monitors the electromagnetic spectrum and provides indications and warnings of radar threats from enemy forces. The fully automated, modular family of systems offers wideband frequency coverage, high probability of intercept, fast response time, and signal identification to identify radar type and precise location. Coupled with AST's advanced COMINT systems, U.S. troops are now better equipped to detect all battlefield emitters and provide enhanced situational awareness while improving force protection across all domains.

AST has significant experience in system integration and overall system engineering. We build our systems in an open architecture, allowing integration with other commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and custom solutions. Additionally, our system architectures are scalable and designed to expand the supplemental collection capabilities within any platform, while making little or no change to it.

Our miniature, low power products and systems are tailored for small tactical and hand-launched platforms and vehicles. Our product portfolio includes vehicular, man-portable, airborne, remote/unattended, and system-level solutions for both passive and active missions.
