Synthetic Aperture Sonar Processing and Survey

AST's HD Sonar™ products and systems are available for underwater survey applications to serve the needs of the hydrographic, military, and homeland security markets. Our remotely operated tow vehicle (ROTV) can perform in areas with strong currents and high traffic density such as ports, harbors, and coastal waters. The system is fitted with a real-time, ultra-high performance SAS designed to produce acoustic imagery with 1-inch resolution over a 400 meter swath. The system's superior seabed imagery combined with high-precision navigation and geolocation features make it an ideal solution for large area survey applications.
