In my vast employment search after graduating from San Jose State University with a B.S. Degree in Software and Information Engineering, I stumbled upon Applied Signal Technology from a list of the top bay area technology companies circulating the web. After interviewing with Applied Signal Technology, I considered myself very lucky to find them. I was attracted to Applied Signal Technology for many reasons, one of them being the offer of tuition reimbursement - where you can go to schools such as Stanford and Santa Clara University. In addition, this is a CMM level 2 company - where you can be assured there are many documents to read which allow you to get up to speed quickly with existing projects. Applied Signal Technology offers challenging projects that keep your interest level up, it is definitely more challenging and fun to intercept communications than to send or receive them.

In addition to my interests in technology, I like to lift weights, run, snowboard, watch movies, listen to many types of music, read about sports cars, and relax.

Choosing to work for Applied Signal Technology was a wise decision. Everyone is very helpful here; employees will spend time to answer any questions you might have. Right away I was given projects that allowed me to expand and sharpen my technical skills. Finally, we are well taken care of. There are great health benefits, offices instead of cubicles, and company lunches almost every month.
