Discuss Second Quarter Operating Results

21, 2007 – Applied
Signal Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: APSG) announced today that it
will host a conference call on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 5:00PM
Eastern (2:00PM Pacific) to discuss second quarter operating
results. Gary L. Yancey, President and CEO, will host the call.
The second quarter operating results will be released through
the newswire services on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 4:00PM Eastern
(1:00PM Pacific).
Investors will have the opportunity to listen to this event in
two ways: via teleconference or webcast.

No pass code is required. There will be a question and answer session
at the end of the conference call. A 24-hour digital replay of
