Applied Signal Technology,
Inc. Enters into Technology
Licensing Agreement
with DRS Technologies,
Inc.
SUNNYVALE, California, January 9, 2007 – Applied
Signal Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: APSG), a leading provider of advanced
signal processing solutions for intelligence, surveillance, and
reconnaissance (ISR), has entered into an exclusive technology
licensing agreement with DRS Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: DRS).
Under the terms of the agreement, DRS has global rights to manufacture,
market, and sell Applied Signal Technology’s (AST) Model
650 Rogue Signal Surveillance System with the Clearwater Operating
System. The Rogue Signal Surveillance System is a rugged, multi-function
receiver for wireless communications surveillance and monitoring.
The low size, weight, and power (SWAP) system is specifically designed
for tactical operations.
Joseph Leonelli, Vice President of AST’s Wireless Communications
