Raytheon AST to Exhibit Latest Cyber Solutions at Phoenix Challenge

Raytheon Applied Signal Technology, Inc. (Raytheon AST) will exhibit at the Spring 2011 Phoenix Challenge Technology Exposition, March 16, at the Island Palms Hotel & Marina in San Diego, CA. This year’s theme is Better Information Operations through Technology.


The mission area will feature its next-generation cyber solutions, including a video presentation titled, A Force Multiplier for Commercially Available Network Exploitation Tools.


The Raytheon AST solution utilizes very-high-speed line rate processing to allow access to the “super highway” part of the internet, also known as the telecommunications transport network. Our video presentation will show how high-speed processing positioned in the telecommunications infrastructure can significantly magnify the effectiveness and utility of commercially available network exploitation tools.


Roger Anderson, Vice President of Raytheon AST’s Network Intelligence product line, commented, “An urgent need exists for a capability that can counter threats from adversary influence operations, web-based enemy communications, and cyber weapons. The solution needs to be cost-effective, scalable, and effective against multiple threat types. Raytheon AST offers this capability today. Our presentation will provide an excellent example of how our computer network operation capabilities can enable a hypothetical operation of real-world influence.”
