SUNNYVALE, California, October 15, 2010 – Applied Signal Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: APSG) (AST), a market leader in advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) and cyber solutions, today announced that it will display the latest in tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) products and technologies at the 2010 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Meeting and Exposition, October 25-27, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
The Company will feature a sampling of its low size, weight, and power (SWAP) products that collect and produce actionable intelligence through the detection, interception, and evaluation of tens of thousands of wireless communication signals. These capabilities are key to ensuring that U.S. troops retain a tactical advantage in today’s increasingly complex and asymmetric combat environment.
AST has developed a family of software-defined radio (SDRs) systems for mobile, fixed, dismounted, and airborne applications. The company will feature the following products in booth number 163:
