MERCURY Metadata Storage and Reporting System

MERCURY is a high-speed, high-capacity storage and reporting system for Survey and Selection Element metadata. The system replaces the legacy Report Generation System with a modern architecture built to handle today's volume and speed requirements.

MERCURY is designed for rapid storage and retrieval of metadata. The system can present collected metadata to the operator in custom formats, without requiring the operator to be knowledgeable about database system details. The system also allows the operator to evaluate system processing effectiveness as well as track system traffic through the collection and forwarding network.
