Model 129 Converged Processor for Converged Networks

The Model 129 Converged Processor for Converged Networks processes multiple high-speed telecommunications links (up to 10G rates) while consuming 80% less power than modern commercial off-the-shelf server-based architectures.

This impressive technology makes it possible to perform deep packet inspection on packet networks; process carrier-grade, circuit-switched traffic simultaneously; or utilize both processing technologies for convergence processing — all on highly constrained size, weight and power platforms. The flexible FPGA architecture makes adding and fielding custom processing requirements simple.

Benefits

  • Designed for highly constrained size, weight and power applications
  • Energy efficient – 20 Gbps for 130 watts, which is 80% less power than modern commercial server systems
  • Performs deep packet inspection, traditional circuit-switched processing and convergence processing of multiple 10G high-density links
  • High performance – every-packet inspection of heavily loaded 10G streams and deep-message inspection with in-the-field specification of packet selection equations
