Raytheon - Applied Signal Technology
TITAN B Precision Beamforming Geolocation Receiver (Model 9240)

Raytheon AST's Model 9240 TITAN B is a modular, scalable, open architecture software-defined radio specifically designed for demanding ISR missions. Its comprehensive communications intelligence (COMINT) capabilities include intercept, collection, geolocation, analysis, and storage and distribution of conventional and military communications.

TITAN B can simultaneously prosecute up to 12 narrowband channels over a 30-MHz span as well as detect the presence of co-channel interference for a given narrowband and estimate how many signals are present, their directions of arrival and their respective signal-to-noise ratios.

Using Raytheon AST's proprietary beamforming algorithm, the system can isolate each signal to achieve a signal-to-noise plus interference ratio necessary for quality demodulation –– even when the signal of interest has a greater than 20-dB disadvantage relative to the interferers. Processing speeds allow sustained beamforming performance in dense signal environments.
